“George Courey did not need a single deliverable. They needed a designer who could handle everything, move fast, and keep the brand consistent across every channel. That is what I did.”

The Client

A national brand with real deadlines

George Courey is a Canadian textile and bedding company supplying hospitals, hotels, and retail markets across the country. Their product line includes hospital bedding, patient gowns, and commercial linens, sold to healthcare facilities and through e-commerce channels including Amazon.

I worked as their freelance marketing designer, embedded in the marketing team and managing all design needs end to end.

My Role

One designer. Every format.

I was responsible for the full scope of the company’s design output. Working closely with the marketing team via Regular meetings, Emails and Trello: I managed multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, handling everything from social media to print production files.

Every piece had to be on-brand, on time, and ready to perform in its channel whether that was an Amazon product page, a hospital sales booklet, or an email campaign.

Sales booklets that close deals

I designed product launch booklets for George Courey’s hospital bedding and patient gown lines, intended for sales reps presenting to healthcare procurement teams. The layouts needed to communicate product quality, specifications, and brand trust in a single sitting.

I also produced seasonal promotion booklets for retail campaigns, including the Autumn collection, balancing visual warmth with clear product presentation.

Amazon product listing design — drove organic sales growth
Digital and E-commerce

Design that drove real sales

I designed Amazon product listing visuals for the bedding line, creating images that showcased the product clearly and positioned it for the platform. The listings saw organic sales growth without paid promotion, a direct result of design quality that builds trust at first glance.

Social media content was produced on a regular schedule, keeping the brand active and consistent across platforms while supporting product launches and seasonal promotions.

Email and Web

Newsletters and landing pages in HubSpot

I designed and built newsletters and one-page landing pages directly inside HubSpot, working within the marketing team’s campaign calendar. Each newsletter had to perform in an inbox, which means clear hierarchy, a strong visual hook, and a call to action that reads well on mobile.

Landing pages were built for specific campaigns and product launches, designed to convert visitors and align with the broader marketing strategy.

Content and Publishing

Digital magazine and infographics

I produced a digital magazine for George Courey, handling layout, image editing in Photoshop, and typography. The magazine was a branded content piece intended for B2B and retail audiences.

Infographic design translated product data and brand information into visual formats that could be shared across digital channels quickly and clearly.

How I Worked

Embedded in a real marketing team

Trello for task management

All projects tracked in Trello alongside the marketing team. Priorities, deadlines, and feedback all in one place so nothing fell through.

Tight deadlines, every time

Marketing timelines do not flex. I worked to real campaign deadlines and delivered consistently, across multiple formats running in parallel.

Adobe CC and HubSpot

All design in Adobe Creative Cloud. Digital pieces built and published directly in HubSpot. End to end, no handoff required.

Working inside a marketing team means your design does not exist in isolation. Every piece connects to a campaign, a deadline, and a result. That is how I work best.

Results

Design that performed

Amazon product listing designs contributed to organic sales growth without paid promotion. A strong product image builds the trust a customer needs to buy.

Across all formats, every deadline was met and every deliverable was production-ready. That is what working inside a real marketing team requires.
